Hoje em dia já existem muitas empresas que fazem o smartphone, tais como Apple, Nokia, BlackBerry. O iPhone criado pelo Apple é considerado um dos primeiros smartphones no mercado. Recentemente, novos tipoos de smartphone chegaram ao mercado e se estabeleceram com grande presença no mercado brasileiro. E o smartphone BlackBerry da empresa RIM é um dos mais profissionais na área dos smartphones.
Um problema que surge atualmente com a chegada do smartphone é a dúvida dos consumidores no momento da compra: deve-se comprar um celular com função simplesmente de ligação ou um smartphone que possui muitos aplicativos? A resposta é: depende da finalidade da compra e do estilo de uso do comprador.
