Os blogs atualmente também proporcionam, para os admiradores de determinados artistas, uma maior aproximação e até contato algum com esses artistas. Já faz tempo que os artistas famosos da televisão, cinema e música, descobriram que a internet também é um palco, para que possam transmitir suas idéias e divulgar seus trabalhos, e em alguns de seus blogs, até mesmo se comportam apenas como simples internautas, escrevendo em diários pessoais e publicando imagens e fotos, como antigamente.

Determinados blogs de artistas famosos também contribuem para reduzir um pouco a curiosidade dos fãs (que são admiradores exaltados) e admiradores comuns, ou ainda para rever aqueles artistas que se encontram temporariamente afastados da mídia, por algum motivo desconhecido.
Acessar blogs de artistas famosos para internautas que gostam de ver ou são viciados nos filmes, seriados, novelas, programas, músicas e peças de teatro, além de outros trabalhos realizados por esses artistas, é um grande lazer, além de ajudar a reduzir a distância entre esses fãs e os seus ídolos, ou artistas famosos preferidos.
